Train: Wisbech once had two railway stations and a tram station,
but now hasn't got any. There are plans to re-open the Wisbech-March line, but for
now it is best to go by train to Peterborough, March, or Kings Lynn. There
is a good bus service X1 from Peterborough Station to
Wisbech Horsefair.
East Coast trains from London Kings Cross take as little as 47 minutes to Peterborough, and the X1 bus takes approx 47 minutes from Peterborough to Wisbech. Great Northern trains take 60 - 75 minutes from Kings Cross to Peterborough, but may be less crowded | ||||
By Bus: First Excel run a service, X1, from Peterborough Station to Wisbech, Kings Lynn & Norwich at 30 minute intervals. See also Peterborough buses , Cambridgeshire buses Bus timetables & information and Busweb
